The Signal Mirror has a special hole that works like a collimator. So you can aim the reflected light at greater distances. In case of emergency, you can call for help with an SOS signal by aiming at a ship or plane. Its visibility depends on sunlight, weather, and terrain, but in good conditions, the reflected light can be seen even from a distance of several kilometers.
