Heated Mirror Glass Installation Steps：
- Create a gap: Press the edge of the exterior mirror glass to tilt it, creating a gap between the glass piece and the mirror cover.
- Disconnect wires: For a heated mirror, unplug the wire connector at the back and connect it to the new mirror socket. (Please note that this kit is without a heated function.)
- Install the new mirror: Align the new mirror glass with the bracket and gently apply pressure. Ensure all mirror glass clips are securely in place until you hear a click.
(*Pro Tip: If fingerprints or stains are present on the mirror surface due to bare hands during installation, use a glass cleaner to clean the new rearview mirror glass.)
How do you measure a mirror?
It is very important to measure your glass to ensure the mirror type you bought is the correct one. If you want to make a precise measurement before purchasing rearview mirror glass, you can follow the three steps below.
Diagonal tangent measurement
Measure the longest diagonal dimension inside the mirror.
Horizontal cut measurement
Measure horizontally from the left mirror edge to the right mirror edge.
vertical cut measurement
Measure vertically from the top mirror edge to the bottom mirror edge.
If you can provide actual pictures of the front and back of the mirror glass, along with the longest diagonal dimensions, it can help with purchasing the correct replacement.
